FAQs
Take a look at some of the frequently asked questions below.
There are three types of pallet stackers: manual stackers, semi electric and full electric power stackers. We supply semi electric and electric power stackers to allow businesses to be more energy conscious, save money, and increase the efficiency of their teams to go beyond what would be physically or safely possible with conventional equipment.
Pallet stackers are exceptionally useful in warehouses that deal with high-volume or mid-sized items. The small physical footprint of a stacker allows to it be easily and intuitively manoeuvred into a range of positions. This helps massively increase their functionality and makes them a useful tool in a variety of professional scenarios.
Pallet Stackers are particularly useful when it comes to tasks that require additional loading and maneuvering time with larger, more cumbersome forklifts or non-motorised pallet carts that need human intervention. Stackers conventionally work best with small to medium-sized loads of between 500 – 1000 kilograms and require height lifts up to 1300mm. This is coupled with their ability to move with speed and precision, allowing for a quick, safe pace and a steady gait – preventing unnecessary effort from employees and using modern technology to take the stress out of work.
We specialize in self-loading pallet stackers aimed at improving overall business operational logistics and safety. We currently sell two types of self-loading pallet stacker models: semi-electric and full-electric. All our models lift heights 800mm,1000mm and 1300mm. Depending on your material handling requirements, we have model options available to lift up to 500 KG and 1000 KG.
There are a number of things to consider when choosing your pallet stacker:
Size of load – What weight will it need to handle? What are the sizes of the pallets you’ll be moving? You need to ensure the stacker you select is up to the job
Required lift height – Where are you moving the loads to? How high up will the pallets need to go?
Type of pallet being moved – Are the pallets you’re moving ‘open’ or ‘closed’? You need to make sure you have the right type of stacker for your pallets
Operation – How many lifts are you expecting to do per shift? Is it viable to operate a manual lift in a busy working environment? Will manual operation put unnecessary pressure on those using the stacker?
Charging – Full-Electric Stackers take five hours on average to charge, while Semi-Electric Stackers take eight hours on average to charge, so you’ll need to ensure you have the space to do this for that amount of time.
